Additional Terms and Conditions
All Change Orders will be signed by both parties before additional work will be scheduled or completed.
Customer understands that Lewis Electrical Contracting and Consulting Services, Inc. (hereafter LEI)) requires a notification of at least 5 working days in order to schedule work and does not schedule work for customers that are not in compliance with contract payment terms and will not be held liable for delays, or costs caused by delays, due to customers’ non-compliance with the payment terms of this contract.
An additional charge, as noted above, will be added if it is necessary for LEI employees to make an additional trip to wire or hang missing items that are to be provided by others and are not on site at the time we are scheduled to perform the electrical work.
LEI and customer acknowledge that this bid has been created from plans and / or specifications, provided by the customer, which may or may not be the most current information available at the time the work actually commences. It is the customer’s responsibility to review this proposal to determine if there are discrepancies between it and their plans and specifications. In cases where there are discrepancies between this proposal, and any plan or specifications, it will be the actual count of the items installed, at the above noted unit prices, that will prevail.
All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a professional manner according or exceeding standard industry practices. Any alteration or deviation from the above specifications involving extra costs or administration will be executed only upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. All agreements are contingent upon strikes, accidents or delays beyond our control. Owner is to carry fire, tornado, and other necessary insurance. Our workers are fully covered by workers compensation insurance and our company is fully licensed, bonded, and insured per legal requirements. By accepting this proposal the undersigned acknowledges the responsibility for payment both personally and on behalf of any company or entity involved. Additionally, no one other than LEI or their subsidiaries shall perform electrical work on the premises that this proposal refers to from the time this proposal is accepted until after we have received our final inspection from the authority having jurisdiction and payment for all work done, including extras without our prior approval.
Any additional requirements by any authority having jurisdiction not specifically stated in this proposal shall be extra. Any damage to finish or frame of structure on which electrical work is being performed due to said performance of electrical work shall be the responsibility of others to repair and pay for. Any damage to plantings, shrubbery, landscaping, retaining walls, curbs, etc. due to trenching for electrical work in this proposal shall be the responsibility of others to repair and pay for. All trenching and backfilling shall be done in a manner so as to cover the wiring and conduits per the National Electrical Code, any settling or additional work required to bring the area trenched to the previous state before trenching shall be the responsibility of others to repair and pay for.
